What Atelier Terre et Bois is known for
Potter Alain Kern shapes stoneware by hand in small series using local clays, firing mugs, bowls and vases at 1280C in gas-reduction and electric kilns at his greenhouse studio in Colmar. He also teaches throwing courses, takes custom commissions and rents kiln space to other potters.
