Awana Kancha, a family-run living museum at Km 23 of the Cusco–Pisac road, keeps alpacas, llamas, vicuñas and guanacos alongside weavers who demonstrate natural dyeing and backstrap looms. Its shop sells textiles made by the highland communities of the surrounding valleys.
