The house made its name as much in others' names as its own: for decades Corneliani's factories produced suiting for the most prestigious labels in fashion, an open secret that certified the quality better than any campaign. Under its own label the register is classical Italian — with a su misura made-to-measure service through the flagships — structured but supple jackets, luxurious outerwear honoring the raincoat origins, ID Jacket innovations with removable warmth.
Investcorp took a majority stake in 2016, and restructuring years followed with Italian state support — but production never left Mantua, Lombardy — unbroken since the post-war rebuild. Corneliani remains what it has always been: the tailoring behind the tailoring, now signing its own work.
