What Cretan Knives is known for
This Chania workshop on Karaiskaki Street has forged traditional Cretan knives since 1938, now run by the third generation after founder Skalidakis. It makes custom pieces alongside kitchen, shepherd and folding knives finished with horn, bone and wood handles, and offers sharpening and repair.
