What Cropp is known for
Polish streetwear-leaning fashion chain launched 2004 by Gdańsk retailer LPP (also owner of Reserved, House, Mohito, Sinsay); expanded into the Baltics, Russia and Czechia within two years, now 370+ stores across Europe plus 19-country e-commerce.
Cropp was launched in 2004 by LPP, the Gdańsk-based Polish retail group founded in 1991 by Marek Piechocki and Jerzy Lubianiec, who began in the clothing trade before formally incorporating as LPP in 1995. Cropp was built as a youth-oriented streetwear line within LPP's growing portfolio of house brands, sitting alongside Reserved (the group's older, broader fashion chain) and, later, House, Mohito and Sinsay, as LPP expanded into more specific customer segments rather than running everything under one banner. The chain grew quickly outside Poland: LPP opened Cropp stores in Estonia, Slovakia and Latvia in 2005, followed by Lithuania, Russia and the Czech Republic in 2006, part of LPP's broader strategy of exporting its house brands across Central and Eastern Europe. Cropp's design direction centers on casual streetwear - graphic T-shirts, hoodies, denim and sneaker-adjacent basics - manufactured, like most of LPP's output, primarily through contract factories in Asia rather than in Poland itself. The chain is headquartered in Gdańsk alongside the rest of the LPP group and, as of 2024, operates more than 370 stores across Europe along with online retail in 19 countries.
