What De Candelaer is known for
In a workshop just off the Markt, fourth-generation potter Steffan Delfos and master painter Anna make Delftware entirely by hand, marking each piece with the painter's and potter's initials and a year code. Beyond vases and plates they paint Delft-blue jewellery, and every item leaves with certificates of factory authenticity.
