What Deakin & Francis is known for
Working out of the same Birmingham building since 1786, Deakin & Francis calls itself Britain's oldest family jewellers. It is run by the seventh generation of the family and still makes cufflinks and signet rings by hand. Their signature is vitreous enamelling — a slow, kiln-fired craft that gives their novelty and heraldic pieces their depth of color.
