Ex Libris is a Rome antiquarian bookshop specializing in rare and antique books, maps, and engravings, with particular emphasis on first editions. According to the shop's own 'Chi siamo' page and its listing with A.L.A.I. (the Italian antiquarian booksellers' association), the business was founded in 1974, not 1931. The D'Aniello family took over management in 1991; the shop was more recently run by Emidio and Leone D'Aniello, alongside Maria Pia Lanzoni until her death in 2022. It is a member of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. The shop is currently located at Piazza Sallustio 14 in Rome's Ludovisi-Sallustiano district, open Tuesday through Saturday.
