What False Cape Wines is known for
Jamie and Julie Helyar established the vineyard in 1999 in partnership with the Follett family of Lake Breeze Wines, choosing a site on the Willson River for its cool-climate growing conditions. The cellar door pours minimal-intervention wines alongside homemade pies and platters, open daily except over Christmas.
