What Forlife is known for

Paris label launched 2018 by brothers Severin and Lucas Bonnichon (formerly of Cuisse de Grenouille): minimal, near-monoproduct basics sold direct-to-consumer by pre-order with no wholesale markup. T-shirts made in Portugal.

Forlife was launched in 2018 by brothers Severin and Lucas Bonnichon, who had previously spent about a decade running the label Cuisse de Grenouille, sold through department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and BHV. After running both brands in parallel for several years, the pair wound down Cuisse de Grenouille to focus on Forlife, built around a different model: minimal, near-monoproduct collections sold directly to customers, largely by pre-order, with no wholesale intermediaries, no stockpiled inventory and reduced margins passed on as lower prices. Each product page details where and how the item is made; t-shirts are manufactured in Portugal, while other pieces such as leather jackets come from factories in India. The brand also runs a business-to-business arm, Forlife for Business.
