Fowler's Chocolates, founded by Joseph A. Fowler in 1901, calls itself Buffalo's original sponge candy maker and still turns out the airy toffee-centered confection. Run from a River Rock Drive factory store, it also makes almond butter crunch, sea-salt caramels and truffles using chocolate up to 60% cacao.
