From Future is a contemporary cashmere brand founded in 2018 by Philippe de Hesdin, co-founder of the fashion house Kookaï, alongside his children Pauline (formerly of Maje) and Thomas. The brand's mission is to democratize luxury cashmere by sourcing directly from the same premium weavers that supply leading luxury houses while eliminating intermediaries and producing in large volume. Cashmere is sourced from Inner Mongolia farms, ensuring supply-chain transparency. The design ethos blends modernist sensibility with seasonal storytelling, offering pieces from basic essentials to more sophisticated sweaters, graphic designs, two-tone colorwork, and nautical-inspired styles. Prices range from €59 to €129, positioning the brand as genuinely accessible luxury. The flagship store opened in August 2018 on Rue de Rennes in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Additional locations include the 16th arrondissement and a prominent shop in Le Marais. The brand remains committed to sustainable practices and ethical production.
