What Główna Księgarnia Naukowa im. Bolesława Prusa is known for
Opened in May 1952 as a Dom Książki and PIW bookshop at Krakowskie Przedmieście 7 — the Grodzicki tenement, and the address Prus gave Wokulski's shop in Lalka. Renamed on 19 May 1962, fifty years after Prus's death. Wprost ranked it Warsaw's best bookshop in 2006.
