What Misbhv is known for
Warsaw streetwear label founded in 2008 by Natalia Maczek and DJ Tomek Wirski, known for weaving Poland's Communist-era history and club culture into graphic ready-to-wear made in Poland.
MISBHV began in Warsaw in 2008 as a side project by Natalia Maczek, then a law student, and her partner Tomek Wirski, a DJ, who started out making unlicensed reworked designer T-shirts for friends to wear at clubs. The label grew into a fashion brand built around referencing Poland's own recent past - Communist-era iconography, pre-1989 visual culture, and the country's club scene. It held its first runway show in Paris in 2015 and later chose to stage its SS19 show on home ground in Warsaw. Products span ready-to-wear, swimwear, sleepwear and accessories, with fabrics sourced from Europe and final garments made in Poland.
