Georges Hobeika is a Lebanese couture house founded by designer Georges Hobeika, who opened his atelier in an affluent Beirut neighborhood in 1995; it has since grown to employ more than 150 people. Hobeika began presenting collections in Paris and, in 2010, opened a showroom on rue Royale, in the city's core couture district. In January 2017, Maison Georges Hobeika was named a guest member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, the body governing Paris's official couture calendar. The house today comprises four lines - Georges Hobeika Couture, Georges Hobeika Bridal, Georges Hobeika Signature, and the diffusion label GH by Georges Hobeika - spanning eveningwear, bridal and ready-to-wear. In 2022, Jad Hobeika, the founder's son, was named co-creative director, working alongside his father on collections shown at Paris Couture Week.
