What Henri Duvillard is known for
Ski and winter-wear label created in 1979 by Megeve-born World Cup alpine skier Henri Duvillard (b. 1947), a six-time World Cup race winner. Now sells ski jackets, midlayers and urban outerwear, with resort partnerships including Megeve, Val d'Isere and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville.
Henri Duvillard, born in Megeve on 23 December 1947, was a French World Cup alpine ski racer active from 1967 to 1973, winning six World Cup races including the Lauberhorn downhill at Wengen and finishing runner-up overall in 1971 and 1972. His career ended with his exclusion from the French national team in December 1973. In 1979 he founded a ski-clothing brand under his own name; the label was later sold to Avance Diffusion. The brand's current site offers ski jackets, midlayers, ski pants and urban outerwear, with official partnerships at Megeve, Val d'Isere and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville.
