What Hirado Kohsyo (Danemon Kiln) is known for
Hirado Kohsyo carries on Mikawachi ware, the fine white porcelain and cobalt underglaze that served the Hirado domain as its official kiln for some four centuries. Potters Taiyo and Yukimi Nakazato throw tableware and decorative pieces at the workshop in Mikawachi, the porcelain village of the former Hirado clan.
