What Holzschnitzereien Strobl is known for
Bonifaz Strobl carves nativity figures and Alpine woodwork by hand from his small shop on Seilergasse in Innsbruck's old town, and runs a knife-sharpening counter from the same premises. Each figure is worked individually rather than cast from a mold, in the same Krippen-carving tradition practiced across Tyrol.
