What Steinbock Mode is known for
Steinbock Mode has cut Loden coats and Tracht since Josef and Thusnelda Payr began processing wool textiles in Telfs in 1938, and the label is still run by their grandson from headquarters in Rum, just outside Innsbruck. Three generations on, the workshop still favors boiled-wool jackets and dirndls made for everyday wear over costume pieces.
