What Indus Heritage Trust is known for
Founded in 2004, this Islamabad-based non-profit trains women artisans from South Punjab and North Sindh in chunri, ralli and block-printing embroidery and sells the resulting kurtas, cushions and homeware under its Virsa and Phulkari lines. It also initiated Islamabad's Craft Village project, a dedicated site set aside to showcase regional artisan work.
