What Jerome Dreyfuss is known for

Paris leather-goods house founded 2002 by designer Jerome Dreyfuss, a former John Galliano assistant; known for the roomy convertible Billy bag and the compact cross-body Momo.

Jerome Dreyfuss was born in Nancy, France in 1974 and began making clothes as a child; he moved to Paris at 17 to work in fashion and soon joined John Galliano's studio as an assistant. He launched his own eponymous accessories brand in 2002 with a debut collection called Roots de Luxe, before the label shifted its focus to leather goods and bags. Each bag style carries a male first name - Billy, Bobi, Lulu, Yves among others - treating the bag as a companion. The Billy is a roomy bag between a satchel and a hobo style, with expandable sides, an external phone/lipstick pocket, internal organizing compartments and two strap configurations. The Momo is a smaller disco-style bag, doubling as a wallet or cross-body bag with two interior zip pockets and multiple card slots.
