What Kafkas is known for
Kafkas is a Bursa confectioner devoted to kestane sekeri, the candied chestnuts for which the city and its Uludag chestnut groves are known. Each nut is slowly simmered in sugar syrup until glossy, then sold loose, glazed or dipped in chocolate.
