What Kinkoen is known for
A Nara sumi ink workshop of about 150 years, Kinkoen makes soot and oil ink sticks and offers a hands-on 'gripped sumi' making experience at its Sanjo-cho workshop. Its ink sticks are sold in person and shipped overseas through an online store.
