What Kokeshi no Shimanuki is known for
Kokeshi no Shimanuki has sold kokeshi dolls and Tohoku folk crafts from its shop on Sendai's Ichibancho arcade since it was founded in the Meiji era, and visitors can try hand-painting their own kokeshi in the store. Its online shop carries kokeshi cans, lacquerware and Sendai glass alongside the physical storefront near Sendai Station.
