La Rosee was launched in 2015 with an initial range of five products by Coline Bertrand and Mahault de Guibert, who met while studying pharmacy in Lyon. La Rosee built its line around naturally-derived, environmentally-conscious formulas manufactured in partner laboratories in France, typically priced around 14 euros, with an eco-refill system. The brand has grown quickly: it is now stocked in more than 11,000 French pharmacies and reported revenue of 70 million euros in 2023, up from 35 million euros the year before.
