What Long's Bakery is known for
Long's Bakery has fried glazed and buttermilk cake donuts in Indianapolis since January 1955, with the same family running the ovens through four generations. A second Southport location opened in 1987, but the original near-west-side storefront still draws lines before dawn on weekends.
