What Newfangled Confections is known for
Carrie Abbott founded Newfangled Confections in 2012 to make Frittle, a peanut-brittle-meets-fudge candy she invented for a wedding, and the company later absorbed Best Chocolate in Town, folding in the beloved downtown chocolatier's recipes in 2020. The Indianapolis kitchen still hand-dips truffles and bark alongside its original nostalgic candy lines.
