What Louis Gabriel Nouchi is known for
Paris menswear label (LGN) founded 2017 by designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, a La Cambre graduate who worked at Vogue Paris and under Raf Simons before starting his own house. Shows on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar with literature-inspired, gender-fluid tailoring blending sportswear and grunge influences.
Louis-Gabriel Nouchi studied medicine and law before switching to fashion, training at the La Cambre school of visual arts in Brussels and working early in his career for Vogue Paris and designer Raf Simons. His own label, LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi, launched in Paris in 2017. He had already drawn attention in 2014 with a nomination at the Hyeres fashion festival, winning the Camper and Palais de Tokyo prizes. LGN's collections intersect classic tailoring, sportswear, and counter-culture references, each season taking a literary work as its starting point, and the label shows on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar. Nouchi has produced capsule collaborations with Galeries Lafayette, La Redoute and Paris Saint-Germain.
