What Maison Hideout is known for

Founded in Trinidad and Tobago in 2012 by childhood friends Sébastien 'Bas' and Rashad as The Hideout Clothing, the label began selling hard-to-find brands on the islands before developing its own cut-and-sew line in 2018 and rebranding as Maison Hideout, blending Parisian and Caribbean design.

Hideout runs its flagship store out of Paris's Le Marais district, at 67 rue du Temple, open seven days a week from 11am to 7:30pm. The Paris-based label builds its collections around unisex streetwear - hoodies, crewnecks, cargo pants and jackets - alongside a footwear line, the Soul 22.5 sneaker, made in Portugal from genuine Italian leather and assembled by hand. Seasonal drops are organized into named collections rather than a single continuous catalogue: recent releases have included a Spring/Summer capsule and a collaboration with French knitwear house Maison Montagut, spanning soccer-style polos, cardigans and jogging sets manufactured in Portugal. hideout has also built a buy-back sustainability program into its business, alongside more conventional streetwear staples like crochet shorts, bucket hats and graphic tees. The brand ships internationally with free shipping on orders above $100, but treats its physical Paris address as a core part of its identity, dedicating a page on its site specifically to store hours and directions rather than folding it into a general contact page. For a label built on the aesthetics of hidden, insider-only fashion, keeping a single walk-in flagship in one of Paris's densest shopping districts is a deliberate choice rather than an afterthought.
