María Dolores Cerámica was founded in 1982 by Roberto López and Basilia González Álvarez in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato — the Mexican town whose mayólica tradition, rooted in Talavera-style tin-glazed earthenware, gives the workshop its signature look.
