Máximo Laura, recognised by UNESCO as a living human treasure, weaves densely textured tapestries of condors, jaguars and Andean cosmology, shown at his eponymous museum and gallery in central Cusco. The studio sells finished pieces and runs multi-day weaving workshops in Spanish and English.
