What Mineya Minsa Weaving Workshop is known for
This workshop in Ishigaki City hand-weaves Yaeyama Hanaori Minsa and Yaeyama Jofu cloth, the two textile traditions native to the Yaeyama Islands, turning them into ties, bags and business-card cases. Visitors can watch the looms in the attached craft museum or book a weaving or plant-dyeing session before browsing the shop.
