Nomasei

Nomasei was founded by Paule Tenaillon and Marine Braquet, two designers who met while working together at Chloe after both had also passed through houses including Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy. The brand's name is a play on the Italian words 'mano' (hand) and 'sei' (six) reversed, referencing 'six hands': the two founders' own hands, plus a symbolic pair belonging to each customer. Nomasei positions itself around sustainability - using upcycled offcuts and deadstock materials, metal-free certified leathers, and vegetable-tanned leathers. Every pair is designed in Paris and manufactured in Montopoli in Val d'Arno, Tuscany.
