The factory has maintained continuous production through more than 140 years, adapting its offerings from standard 130-gram gingerbread to souvenir editions, premium "Extra" varieties, and hand-decorated pieces sold in gift boxes.
Beyond the factory on Staronikitskaya Street, the business runs branded retail shops across Tula, including a location inside the SK-Royal Hotel on Sovetskaya Street and two "Tulskiy Pryanik" shops. A gingerbread museum, attached to one of the Staronikitskaya Street locations, documents the craft's history and role in regional culture — the bakery describes its product as more than a sweet, calling it a souvenir and a symbol of regional pride.
Visitors can book hands-on masterclasses in gingerbread making and decoration at the factory, alongside standard retail purchases from any of the branded shops.
