Suwaa Roastery

Suwaa Roastery launched in Jeddah in 2017 as a registered Saudi trademark and has worked specialty-grade coffee since, positioning itself explicitly around raising quality standards in the kingdom's coffee sector. Unlike café-only competitors, Suwaa runs an integrated production factory with multiple lines, importing green beans from several countries and roasting them under standards aligned with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Two principles guide its roasting profiles: consistency of quality cup to cup, and a distinct flavor and roast profile tailored to each individual coffee variety rather than a single house style applied across the board. That variety-specific approach carries through three separate roasting techniques built for espresso, filter brewing, and traditional Saudi qahwa, so the same origin coffee is roasted differently depending on how it will be prepared. Beyond bagged retail coffee and drip envelopes, Suwaa supplies cafes and businesses across Saudi Arabia as a wholesale roaster, putting its own factory-scale roasting behind other shops' menus as well as its own counter. The combination — an SCA-referenced factory operation, three brew-specific roast profiles, and a qahwa line alongside modern specialty formats — sets it apart from Jeddah's smaller café-only coffee bars.
