The chain's furniture and accessories draw on Middle Eastern and Asian design influences, sold as heavier wood pieces and statement decor rather than flat-pack basics. In 2007, Arabian Business magazine named The One among the GCC's 50 Most Admired Companies. The company has continued to expand its store formats, including a newer concept location at Dubai Hills Mall (2024). The One now operates roughly 31 stores across the Middle East.
