What Vergani is known for
Secondo Vergani has made Cremona's classic torrone since 1881, pressing honey, egg white and toasted almonds into hard nougat bars alongside marrons glacés and candied mostarda. The confectionery on Via Tacito also turns out chocolate pralines, truffles and seasonal specialties under the historic Vergani name.
