CCC traces back to Dariusz Milek selling shoes from a folding bed at a market in Lubin in the late 1980s. From 1996 the business developed franchise stores and then registered as CCC Sp. z o.o. It has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2004 and, as of January 2025, operated roughly 1,038 physical stores across 23 markets, with manufacturing facilities in China, Bangladesh and India, making it Central Europe's largest footwear retail network. As of February 13, 2026, the parent company formally renamed itself from CCC S.A. to Modivo S.A., an umbrella brand unifying the group's portfolio; individual CCC storefronts keep operating under the CCC name.
