What Cinabre is known for

Paris menswear accessories house founded in 2011 by Alexandre Chapellier. Bow ties, ties, and scarves made in France (workshops in Fontaine-Raoul, Loir-et-Cher); formerly stocked at Colette, Neiman Marcus, and Isetan Shinjuku.

Cinabre Paris is a men's accessories brand founded in 2011 by Alexandre Chapellier, who opened the first boutique that year in Paris's 10th arrondissement, at 20 rue d'Hauteville. The house began with 'couture' bow ties made from luxury-house fabric offcuts before expanding into boutonnieres, ties, scarves, and leather goods; production is handled in-house at ateliers in Fontaine-Raoul, in the Loir-et-Cher department. Early commercial success came largely from foreign buyers, particularly American clients, and the brand was carried by Paris concept store Colette, the Neiman Marcus chain in the US, Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo, and Le Bon Marche in Paris. GQ magazine nicknamed Chapellier the 'neck dresser of Paris.'
