Designers Remix

Designers Remix was created in 2002 when Charlotte Eskildsen was commissioned by IC Companies to develop new brands from surplus materials—hence the name reflecting the creative remix of existing textiles. In 2006, Eskildsen and partner Niels Eskildsen purchased 49% of company stock, establishing Designers Remix A/S as an independent venture. The brand draws from Danish design principles—organic modernism, functionalism, and the legacy of design tradition—translating these into minimalistic womenswear characterized by geometric, organic, and asymmetrical silhouettes with distinctive 3D accents. Eskildsen's design approach emphasizes clean lines and functional beauty over ornamentation. The label garnered recognition with the Danish Fashion Award for Brand of the Year (2012) and an Elle Style Award in the same category (2013). In 2008, the designer expanded into children's wear with Little Remix, a line for ages 6–16. The Copenhagen-based house operates at the intersection of Scandinavian restraint and contemporary fashion, serving an international clientele seeking architecturally thoughtful garments.
