NAKED Copenhagen opened in 2004 as a sneaker retailer built specifically around women's footwear, at a time when sneaker culture and limited releases were marketed almost entirely to men. The company grew from a single Copenhagen shop into two stores in the city's central shopping district plus a third location in Aarhus, alongside an online store shipping internationally. Its stock centers on women's-specific sneaker lines and exclusive colorways from Nike, adidas Originals, ASICS SportStyle, New Balance and Salomon, supplemented by streetwear apparel and accessories.
