What Dice Kayek is known for

Paris fashion house founded in 1992 by sisters Ece and Ayşe Ege, Turkish-French designers raised in Bursa; Ece Ege designs while Ayşe manages the business. A Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne member since 1994, with ateliers in Paris and Istanbul producing structured, sculptural ready-to-wear.

Dice Kayek was founded in Paris in 1992 by sisters Ece and Ayşe Ege, who grew up in Bursa, Turkey. Ece, a graduate of Esmod Paris, first drew industry attention with a small collection of white poplin shirts; by 1993 the sisters had shown their first complete women's ready-to-wear collection in Paris. Ece Ege serves as creative director while her sister Ayşe runs the business side of the house.

The label became a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne (the French federation overseeing Paris fashion) in 1994, a marker of its standing within the city's official fashion establishment. Dice Kayek operates two ateliers, one in Paris and one in Istanbul, and its design language is built around structured, architectural tailoring — sculptural jackets and coats that draw visibly on Ottoman and Turkish decorative motifs and silhouettes, reworked into a Parisian ready-to-wear vocabulary.

Ece Ege's individual recognition includes the 2003 Femme en Or award, given in France to women judged successful in their fields. The Paris–Istanbul structure remains the house's defining mechanism: garments are conceived and cut in France while production and craft references draw on Istanbul's textile and embroidery trades.
