Ere Athens

ERE Athens was founded by Dora Kalogirou, formerly in corporate work, and Georgia Romanou, a pastry chef by training, who met after each had spent years living and traveling abroad and built the shop as a space to 'share experiences and get inspired.' The concept pairs curated retail with a working food program: a hand-picked assortment of local Greek products and artisan design work alongside emerging international labels, spanning tableware, textiles, jewelry, candles, apothecary items, and magazines, organized by material and craft rather than around a single house aesthetic. Alongside the retail floor, ERE runs a kitchen producing sweet and savory pastries made to order, positioning coffee and conversation as part of the same visit rather than an add-on café. The founders describe the space explicitly as being 'for the community of those daring to travel where their minds take them' — treating the shop-café hybrid as a meeting point rather than a pure point of sale. The result is a concept store where a Greek ceramic bowl, a small-batch skincare line, and a savory pastry can plausibly be part of the same half-hour visit, aimed at browsers who want the shop itself to be an experience rather than a transaction.
