Hamamatsuya has worked wood in Hatajuku for more than two centuries, producing both veneered and solid yosegi-zaiku and the pictorial wood inlay known as mokuzougan. Its counter carries trays, boxes and framed marquetry pictures built from naturally colored timbers.
