Jovoy

What Jovoy is known for

Paris niche-perfume house originally founded 1923 by Blanche d'Arvoy, revived in 2010 by Francois Henin; its rue de Castiglione boutique curates over 130 independent fragrance brands.

Jovoy was first founded in Paris in 1923 by Blanche d'Arvoy, a contemporary of Coco Chanel, at 15 rue de la Paix, with its own distillation operation in Grasse; the house closed in 1929 and faded from memory. In 2010, Francois Henin - who had spent years sourcing raw materials in Vietnam and Grasse - revived the Jovoy name. The current boutique operates at 4 rue de Castiglione in Paris, near the Tuileries, in an area with a historic concentration of perfume houses. Rather than a single-brand perfumer, contemporary Jovoy functions as a curated multi-brand emporium, stocking more than 130 independent and niche fragrance houses alongside its own Jovoy-labeled line. The concept has expanded to additional boutiques in Le Mans, London, Dubai and Qatar.
