Kleed

Paris

What Kleed is known for

Luxury sustainable resortwear and loungewear label with natural fabrics, easy dresses, kaftans, and warm-weather pieces.

KLEED was founded in 2016 by Carolina, a Portugal-based designer whose two defining interests -- wildlife conservation and luxury fashion -- shape the brand directly. Alongside building KLEED, she has spent extended stretches, month-long stints at a time, working on rhino and elephant conservation projects in Africa, and the label channels part of its proceeds back into that cause: KLEED donates 5% of profits to wildlife conservation efforts. The collections center on resortwear and loungewear -- linen dresses, ikat kimonos, embroidered kaftans, and beachwear -- made by hand using ancient weaving and dyeing techniques, in partnership with small communities of artisans rather than industrial manufacturing. Fabrics are natural and hand-loomed where possible, with pieces designed to be one-of-a-kind rather than mass-produced, offered across a range of patterns, lengths, and sizes. The brand operates primarily as a direct e-commerce label and wholesale supplier rather than through its own retail storefronts, with a private office in Lisbon handling wholesale relationships; its collections have also been shown at trade platforms including Splash Paris, the resortwear-focused trade show, positioning KLEED within the broader wave of small, artisan-led sustainable labels working out of Portugal.
