L'Atelier de Yann

Colmar (Place de la Cathedrale)

What L'Atelier de Yann is known for

Facing Colmar's cathedral, chef Yann Navarro's shop makes chocolates, pastries and viennoiseries daily, served in a boutique and a shaded tea-salon garden. He also teaches pastry masterclasses and ships nationwide via Click&Collect.

L'Atelier de Yann sits opposite Colmar's cathedral, run by chef Yann Navarro in a shop built around a deliberately contemporary interior -- faience, stone, metal and glass finishes in warm brown tones, under a ceiling of inverted fir-wood beams meant to suggest a forest canopy. Navarro makes the full range on site daily: chocolates, pastries, viennoiseries and seasonal creations, sold from a boutique case rather than shipped in from a central kitchen. Attached to the shop is a tea salon with a shaded garden terrace, giving the business a second identity as a place to sit rather than just buy and go -- customers can take a pastry and a tea or coffee outside rather than carrying it away. Navarro also runs pastry masterclasses from the space, teaching technique to visitors rather than keeping the process entirely behind the counter. The shop supports Click&Collect ordering plus delivery across France and further into Europe, extending its reach well past walk-in customers in central Colmar. Between the central cathedral-facing address, the daily-made boutique, the tea garden and the teaching classes, the business functions as pastry shop, tea room and small culinary school under one roof, built around Navarro's own hands-on production.
