What Merz Apothecary is known for
Founded in 1875 by Swiss immigrant Peter Merz and run by the Trotta family since 1972, this Lincoln Square apothecary marked its 150th year in 2025 stocking European soaps, herbal tinctures, homeopathic remedies, and hard-to-find grooming goods.
