What Löwen-Apotheke is known for
Operating from a Romanesque-Gothic patrician house built around 1230, one of Germany's oldest surviving citizen houses, the Löwen-Apotheke has dispensed medicine in Lübeck since 1812 and has stayed in the same family since 1898, now in its fourth generation. Beyond prescriptions, the pharmacy formulates more than sixty herbal remedies and natural cosmetics under its own Löwen-Manufactur label, sold at the counter and through its online shop.
