What Oh My Cream is known for

Oh My Cream is a Paris-founded beauty concept store curating clean, expert-vetted skincare and makeup brands. Founded in 2012, it has grown to roughly thirty boutiques across France, Belgium, and London.

Juliette Levy started Oh My Cream in 2012, fresh out of ESSEC business school, after an internship at Le Bon Marché's beauty counter convinced her retail was where she wanted to be. She opened her first boutique the following year on rue de Tournon in Paris's 6th arrondissement, built around a simple pitch: every product on the shelf had to be effective, not just marketed well. That filter now covers roughly 45 brands, including Tata Harper, Augustinus Bader, and a makeup line from the artist Violette, curated by staff trained to give the kind of advice a counter at a mass retailer typically skips. In 2017 Levy added her own skincare line, which has since grown into a meaningful share of the business, and followed it with a color-cosmetics line for the label. The company has since expanded to roughly thirty stores, with the bulk still in France and outposts in Belgium and two locations in London, in Chelsea and Notting Hill. What started as a single Paris address focused on product efficacy over packaging has become one of the more recognizable clean-beauty retail names in France, competing directly with the counters at Sephora and Marionnaud on curation rather than scale.
